Thank you to everyone who commented on yesterday’s letter to the birthday boy.  We are certainly concerned, but we are content in the waiting.  He started some meds yesterday and is quite the groggy fella, so I’m actually watching him build an empire with his legos right now.

I don’t mind a bit.

On a lighter and painted furniture inspiration note, I couldn’t wait to host an All Things Furniture again today!  It’s been TOO long, and I’m SO excited to see what I’ve been missing these last two weeks.

Here’s some projects/features that stood out to me last time…

create beach distressed furniture

LOVE, LOVE this beachy farmhouse bed from clark | pharm

style a vintage card catalog

Gorgeous vintage card catalog spruce-up at Crafty, Scrappy, Happy

use slipcovered furniture to create comfortable living spaces

Tiffany Interiors created this lovely slipcover for my bud, Ashley, at the Handmade Home.  Beautiful work, Tiffany!  Beautiful home, Ashley!

school desk makeover before and after

Adorable school desk makeover at Brown Paper Packages

use chalk paint to achieve painted and distressed cottage style furniture

Chalk Paint Sideboard Makeover at Maple & Magnolia.  Love some Aubusson Blue!

Those were just a few of the pieces that stood out to me…there are always so many, and I can’t wait to see what all you’ve been up to these last few weeks!!  It’s time for me to tackle quite a few projects now that the dining room is finished, and I have a lego party to pull together at the last minute.

It’s your turn to link up all of your furniture related projects…builds, makeovers, favorite pieces…all things furniture are a go!

Happy Thursday,
