As I’m combing my way through the Christmas Challenge entries (there are over 80!!), I was too ready to post and talk to you guys to wait until tomorrow!
How are you today, friends??
Now that the Cottages and Bungalow’s shoot is over (I will stop talking about it eventually), I’m finally decking our halls today. We’re keeping it simple, and hopefully tomorrow or the next day, I’ll take you on a little tour de West.
For now, I thought you should see some of the little details that we worked on for the shoot.
Of course, the writing room was all cleaned up,
and we moved things around and around, like my aqua antique door turned inspiration board. And it goes without saying that these were snapped the night before, so imagine a much brighter, natural light-filled photo.
🙂
Since I’ve not sold it yet, the white aged antique vanity was moved behind my desk to give me just a little more storage and work space. (I’m realizing now I’ve never posted that subway art or the ghost lamp re-do!)
We finally chose and put the hardware on this beast…well, except for one piece. I cannot find it ANYWHERE!
Remember him?? I am debating right now on selling it. I’ve got a buyer, but I’m having quite a hard time thinking of losing it.
What do you think? Keep or sell?
We even cleaned Grayson’s room.
And again, it occurs to me you’ve never seen his room. We’ll work on that after the holidays!
Okay, headed back to check out your projects and keep on decorating!!
Have you seen the prizes for the Christmas Challenge winner?
Head over to the Challenge to link up for your chance to WIN!!
You’ve got until tomorrow at 10 am!
See you soon, chick-a-dees!
love the subway art and ghost lamp!!!! and i vote sell it unless you NEED the storage and need it now. then sell it- you'll find something else. thanks for the sneak peak of grayson's room- looks adorable!
How beautiful again! That aqua antique door and the vanity are so good looking!
I love that piece and I'd say keep it! It looks beautiful behind your sofa and has lots of good storgae, too. It really suits your home. You could hold on to it until after the holidays are over and then see how you feel.
DON'T SELL IT!!!
Yes, I agree with the above comment. Don't sell! love the geometric design.
KEEP IT!!!!
I just love your home! Loveliness everywhere! When does the publication of the magazine for the shoot come out?
Just found your blog! I Love your style! Hugs,Rachel
I vote sell, sell, sell!! You're so good at the whole buying and redoing thang that I bet you can find something that you haven't got a shadow of a doubt about whether to keep or sell. You'll know in your heart that you couldn't possibly sell it! If in doubt, sell…..well, that's my thought on it anyway!
I would keep it until you find something that could fill that space. The piece is so beautiful and seems to just fit just perfectly. I think the fact that you lost one of the pulls is a sign that you can't get rid of it 🙂 Just kidding.
Your blog is beautiful! I'm very impressed! The subway art, and ghost lamp look awesome, and I love your son's room, can't wait to see the whole thing!
Love this post and your blog….your taste is amazing!! All the best,Chrissy
where did you get grayson's pirate stuff? LOVE it! I vote to sell!
