Memorial Day is the unofficial first day of summer.
So what better way to ring in the summer season than with a day filled with outdoor games. Head to the beach, the lake or make your backyard your own personal vacation this Memorial day. Here are some of my outdoor favorites!
First up… Giant Jenga.
We guarantee all the adult and kids will be fighting to play this one. I mean who didn’t play Jenga as a kid..
Jenga is such a simple game and we have found an even easier tutorial for you guys here.
I have a feeling this project will be in Matt’s future.
Next up on the list of outdoor fun is Corn Hole.
Weather you are tailgating for your favorite team or just enjoying a summer cookout with friends and family, corn hole can make any party.
Want to know how to make these beauties.. we have you covered!
Last but not least we have Slip and Slide Bowling.
Its not Memorial Day without some kind of water sport.
I was just as excited about this as the kids were. Who wouldn’t be though? Its a slip and slide.. plus you get to bowl.. with you body. You are welcome guys.
Gray loved it and it took us no time to set it up. I grabbed a tarp from our local hardware store then found some bottles laying around the house. Grayson and I filled them up about half way and headed outside. It is as easy as that!
Your kiddos are going to love it and I promise you, you are going to want to “slide” in on this fun.
Have fun. Get Outside. And Happy Memorial Day to you and yours!
I already have the giant Jenga idea from pinterest and their was painted bright colors! I think it’s a great idea. Another one was making a large blackboard to hang onto fence to play win, lose or draw or any other games you could use chalkboard with, like Hangman.
Thanks for the idea Rose! And for your comment. 🙂
Neat ideas! Love outdoor parties. . .
So do we Jenni! You can’t beat being outside for a party. 🙂
