    Shaunna I’m on the couch too. A bad head cold has struck and it’s impossible to move forward. Everything stops when mommas sick! Oh the frustration, feel better soon.

    That is what our family looked like this week too. Maddeningly, my youngest daughter complained of a sore throat and I brought her to the clinic on Friday, a rapid strep was negative. Monday morning I got a call that the culture grew positive. She went over 72 hours without antibiotics! Whenever she has an inflammatory response from anything (last time it was a bee sting) she has a flare of her underlying chronic illness that sends her pediatric gastroenterologist into a tizzy. So, after a week, plus of looking like that, we get to travel to a town 4 hours away for fasting labs, an MRI an a visit with her doctor.

    Had strep throat earlier this week, my son’s school had to call the health dept. and sanitize the whole place when 40 kids went home sick in one day last week, it’s a bad time of year!! I hope you’re feeling better quick and hubby is a big help around there :)
