If you had asked me 17 years ago after finishing business school, what I would do for a living, I would hardly say this.

This being: a writer, an artist, a creative business coach. Among the main jobs, though, is this underlying set of job titles: marketing manager, social media manager, accountant, photographer, blogger, customer service rep, shipping department coordinator, YouTube video maker….

This list goes on and on.

Mostly, I find myself laughing at the tasks I try to accomplish each week, and I have painfully learned I just can’t tackle them all, all of the time. While I’m good at many of them, I’m brand new or relearning others.  Case in point, adding all these videos I’ve recorded of my paintings on to my forgotten YouTube channel so I can share them here, with you. I have no idea what I’m doing, but I am relearning. I just wanted to see if I could even upload and embed a video, so I uploaded one that wasn’t shot for YouTube itself…it’s the wrong size and all.

Still, though, we learn. My very first videos in 2009 (and some of the most viewed) were of me in no makeup, in my garage, with a paint sprayer in hand. I’ve really just embraced the good ole days lately. Sharing to share what brings me joy and to connect with you, in some small or meaningful way. No more, no less.

I kind of love it.

Hope you enjoy this time-lapse; this is the type of video I share on Instagram all the time in case you want to follow along there.
