So, my daybed got featured today at Remodelaholic. I’m SO flattered that she and you guys have been so receptive and kind! It does feel really great when you’ve put so much work into something to hear such wonderful things said. Thank you guys so very much!!
I also wanted to say hello there and hey y’all and hey you guys and all kinds of other greetings to my new readers! I’m so glad you’re enjoying the blog and you’ve chosen to hang around a bit. Can’t wait to stop by and say hello!
Oh, and for the newer readers, I’ve gotten some questions on the daybed tutorial. You can see a video post that covers the major aspects of building the bed, a post to see how I chose to finish it and begin accessorizing the writing room, and a tutorial post for the itty bitty details.
And on another totally random note, I just found bakerella. Have you stalked her site yet?? I mean, cupcake pops??? I’m so glad I already went to the store yesterday for Ava’s party. Guess I’ll be heading back. Who can resist bite-size cupcakes pops???
I promise to take lots of pictures….I’ve been up to my ears in cupcakes and pink glitter this week…not so much furniture painting.
🙂
Congratulations on the recognition, it is well deserved! I have definitely been to Bakerella's, love those pops! I made some for a client a few months ago and ended up making extra for my family! Cannot wait to see pictures from adorable Ava's party!
Love Bakerella and love your blog too!!
Your daybed deserves every single little bit of attention it's been getting in "blogland!" It's so fantastic! REALLY!
your daybed is amazing….and yes, i've been stalking bakerella for sometime. 🙂
Oh yes, Bakerella is the best! I made cake pops for an event last year and I got the idea for the adorable graduation caps from her site. Great stuff! Lisa~
You really did an amazing job with this project. It is so beautiful and you picked the perfect bed linens!
you have only just discovered Bakerella??? OMG you need to come out of the workshop more often LOL! I make Easter ones every year :-)
