Well, I wanted to give you guys an update on PerfectlyImperfect Restoration…still deciding if I like that name or not (it does give the furniture room to be imperfect which is a good thing :)….
The first coffee table sold about 6 hours after I posted it on Etsy! I had also listed it on Craigslist and got several inquiries. One such girl really wanted the table, but alas, her email didn’t deliver until after I had sold it already. So…remember those tables I got last week?
She is getting those (Hey there Nichole!) The best part? I get to design the finish around her taste and decor style–which is a fabulous mix between shabby chic and traditional.
Here is one end table partially primed….when I got some white on it, the potential was screaming at me so I stopped and snapped a picture. I’ve got some kind of stomach virus (YUCK), but I’m hoping to be finished with these by the end of the week. Can’t you see how beautiful they’ll be?
So anyway….just wanted you to know it’s going so well…thank you SO much for your support and kind words of encouragement! Somehow, just writing about this process has given me so much more confidence to pursue it and make it happen! Thank you again!
Wanted to leave you with a couple of verses this morning….
“Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will earn favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.” -Proverbs 3:3-6
Thank you, God, for your richest blessings…glory all to You for these amazing opportunities!

I like the name Perfectly Imperfect Restoration. Congratulations! I'm sure your business will go well. I like what you do.
Wow, the white really pops out all of the pretty detail on that table. I didn't even notice the curves in the before picture. That sounds like a fun project! Lisa~
I really like this style of table, it is looking good so far!
I love the name! It sounds like you are doing my dream job. I was just telling my husband a few weeks ago that if I could do anything it would be to have a shop where I can hunt for imperfect furniture and make it beautiful again and then sell it in my shop. If I had more room, I could just start doing it from home… one day! :)
So nice to meet you, too. I think I have some kind of nesting bug going right now. I refinished two more frames today. I have done two chests this year. I can't seem to stop. Your children are adorable. Enjoy them they grow up so fast.
Hi, the table looks really good so far!! It's just my style….Kathy
