Although it’s too late to wish you merry Christmas, there’s always a time to wish you imposing achievements and thank you for inspiration. I was visiting my friend in Vancouver during Christmas. She has a son who’s turning 10 years in February and wants to give him this exquisite present in the form of a room redecoration. I referred her to your captain’s uniform inspired chest of drawers and it’s been decided since. 🙂 Vancouver and its captivating sights, the Festival of Lights and Grouse Mountain in particular, also got me wondering how ordinary things like lights and snow can bring about some great ideas. So my Vancouver friend’s had a spotlight built into a wall where a lighthouse has been painted and I’ve sprayed white color over my baby blue quilt chest.
I’m sorry for the dysfunctional link, Shaunna! This is the one with the photograph of VanDusen Botanical Garden where the festival took place. It was a pure magnificence.
