Okay, I’m not a real big fan of tooting the horn–so all I’ll say is thank you so very much to Cassity @ Remodelaholic and Miss Mustard Seed for featuring me on their blog’s today! What an incredible honor!!
As most of you have heard me say, I’m incredibly passionate about writing and super interested in becoming a craftier me. So I’m so thankful you guys are enjoying it as much as I am!
Basically, it’s raining here and humid as all get out……and I can’t paint!!
I have my first coffee table almost done for PI Restoration and I can’t do the glaze and sealer on it because it would take 3 weeks to dry! Hence, the pictures of the other project in progress for the writing room.
Do you remember what the doors looked like??
I’m wanting to share something with you, so I thought I’d just give a little update. Last weekend I went to work on these bad boys (while my hubbie was out of town and Ava’s ear drum was bulging, no less) and got one side done…I know i’ve shared this with you, but again…bored. 🙂
I am very pleased with the distressing and finish of the scrollwork–it was no easy job and I cannot wait to see them all finished!
What do you think?? I am also SO excited to tell you that if weather will cooperate, we just might have a daybed made by Monday!! Now, if only the writing room were done so I could take some pictures….I’ll have to rig something, because I am way too impatient to wait until it’s all finished to show you each piece.
Alright, that’s it for now. I think.
Thanks for letting me ramble.
