I have to make a confession.
I am somewhat addicted to blog surfing.
It’s kind of so bad that I’ve had to come up with a schedule for myself so that I am a wife and mommy first, then a blog stalker, I mean, reader. 🙂
It occurred to me this week that I read so many of your posts and marvel at all of your creativity and brilliance…well I want to recognize that!!
It feels so wonderful for someone to notice something you did…to see your hard work and appreciate the beauty you created for your family, home, etc.
So each Saturday I’m going to send a shout-out to several of you, noticing your great projects.  That’s it.  Nothing fancy…just simple recognition for jobs well done.  I hope each of you know that when I say I love it, I truly do and want to recognize you for your accomplishments!
So, without further delay….some of my favorites this week (there were so many more, but honestly I couldn’t find them all again 🙂 :
Camie at Home is Where They Love You turned her $5 barstool into this beauty!
You know I love a good furniture transformation and this is a good one!  Annie from The House that Jade Built painted this grey armoire for her son’s room…gorgeous finish!
Nikki, from Nikki’s Nifty Knacks, took things she had lying around and made this darling shadowbox art!  Genius!
And this old folding chair became a white and blue beauty by the hands of Stephenie at Decorating Addiction.
There was one more project I had wanted to feature–Jess, if you’re out there, I can’t find you!  She made the most darling laundry bags for sorting in their laundry room–I wish I could find you again!
These are simply a few of the ones I noticed while looking around….Congrats on your brilliance and creativity ladies!!  (You’re more than welcome to mention you were featured at my little blog; I’m still working on a button for you!)
Here’s to creativity and inspiration–if you have a project you want me to check out in the week (and you don’t see my name attached to any of the linky parties you frequent, shoot me an email and I’ll come check it out!)
Gotta go take advantage of this weather and paint some furniture–news on that end, by the way!  For another time, maybe.  Have a beautiful weekend!
