This is my latest find for “my room”–thanks to my sweetest friend, Jenny, for coming with me (we have to do that more often) on the hunt through 4 antique shops and for the baby bouncing that made this find possible! I got it for a steal–$70. Ok, probably could have worked them down even further, but I was so awestruck when I saw it, it didn’t even occur to me to ask. Most everything for my room is being refinished by yours truly or built by my sweetie, so when I found this beautiful eye candy already distressed in white, I was done for.
And then I saw this chair…..
Now I’m getting carried away. I’m already trying to figure out if this place is open today so I can go check it out. Again, lovely that it’s already finished! I would love a chair like this for a reading nook–would go perfectly with my new table.
Other great find:
I got two of these gorgeous solid doors from my sweet mom! I fully intend on sanding them down and distressing them in white, but as to what they’re turning into–well, that you’ll have to wait on. 🙂

you could use the doors for a large headboard or a headboard/footboard. I have been looking for some doors that I love to do the same for our room! 🙂
