Whew, the last few days have been so much fun.
Our Easter was amazing and so Powerful I could hardly stand it.
We’ve been gearing up for our local arts festival this weekend, Troy Fest. It’s such a wonderful weekend event, and I cannot wait to stroll around and see what artists have created for the fair.
We’ve been gearing up in the shop, too, and have worked on lots of projects this week. I’ve painted three pieces of furniture, painted a bunch of custom mixed color sample sticks (how fun!), painted milk paint sample boards, updated our chalk paint sample boards, worked on displays & the windows, and we’ve been playing with mannequins & paint chips, too.
The girls have all been so helpful, and I think we’ll all take a good nap next week when it’s all said and done. In the meantime, Kaitlyn & I have been working on a fun display project for our sidewalk this weekend…it involves our vintage mannequin (who we named Sheila) & those paint chips.
I’ll make myself stop and take pics of all of our projects this week to keep you in the (artsy) loop.
look forward to seeing all the creative results.
I love the look of chalk and milk paint. Can’t wait to see what you come up with.
I’m sure Sheila will make a big debut. Can’t wait to see the results of all your hard work.
