Yes it is me again… The Little Brother.

You know the guy you met a few years back, the one who suffers from an unhealthy addiction to Disney World and the movie Midnight in Paris? While I tend to think of myself as a modern day romantic seeking out an unrealistic escape from this world, it would only seem fitting that my antagonistic sister see me as hard headed and mildly irritating.

Easy there reader!!! I know my sister has come to gain the trust of a small militia and choosing to call her an antagonist might not be the brightest move on my part, but please hear me out. I only use the word antagonist with a lenient flexibility as to how we view such a word. While most of us tend to only perceive the antagonist as the villain, we tend to forget that the hero is only as good as the antagonist pitted against. At this point you must be thinking that we can chalk up the word “arrogant” to the ever increasingly list of my personal qualities. However, I am no hero. I am no protagonist. I am who I am, but only because of a short list of people in which my sister teeters at the top. We do not always agree and yes we have fought, but without the steady guidance, encouragement, and most of all, love of my sister, I would not be who I am today.

She is no villain, but she is my antagonist. She pushes me. She calls me to be better. She is continuously stretching me. Without her, I would not be me.

I say all of this in response to one of her more recent posts regarding my photos. While I would argue that the dramatization of my potential reaction might have been somewhat over the top, I would agree that I have been a little hesitant to share them. It started as a hobby, when my mandolin career came crashing down, and still continues to be something that I enjoy.

I would also like to thank you all for your comments. They have been truly encouraging and have pushed me to seek out more exposure. This process will be a slow one but at least it is a start. I am starting to seek out avenues of printing and online ordering, but for now you can view my photos in three places. The first two being photo sharing websites that I post most of my photos. The link below will take you directly to my page and you will be able to browse the few photos I have up. The third way that I will be seeking exposure will be through Instagram. I know some of you have requested to follow my personal account, but I rarely post my photos to that account. Therefore I have created a new account that I will update regularly with nothing but my photography. Trust me I’m saving your Instagram feed from hunting, disney, and Alabama football.

Thank you again for all of your kind words and I ask that you continue to look, share and criticize my photography. Help me become better.

Be my antagonist.

Okay, it’s me now.

Antagonist?  I was sobbing buckets when I read Lance’s post, so I won’t pretend to be offended.  BUT, small militia, we’ve done it!!!!  Insert evil laugh here.  Bwahahahahahaha!!!!
