I’ve admitted I’m ecclectic.
The same me that loves beadboard and beat up wood, is the same me that loves silver-leafed frames and fine french lines.
So it’s only natural that I stay constantly confused.
🙂
But…I’m learning to embrace that, and in doing so, beginning to feel like this house is my home.  It’s why I’ll put a late 1800’s French chair in a room with a salvaged trellis headboard.
Because of my eclectic tastes, it now seems quite reasonable for me to decorate my mantel three ways for Christmas.
Here’s some inspiration for the “Winter Wonderland” theme:

There’s an underlying theme amongst all these beautiful photos…white, metallics, candles, texture, and a little greenery.
I’ll recreate the elements of these inspiration mantels using items I already own, flea market finds, and a few extras from Hobby Lobby.
I’m actually looking at the first layer of the mantelscape right now…and I must say, I’m getting excited.
I mean, Christmas, my favorite holiday?
Three ways?
Fabulous.
